Talmaza este un sat şi comună din raionul Ștefan Vodă. Este unicul sat din componența comunei cu același nume. Localitatea se află la distanța de 19 km de orașul Ștefan Vodă și la 94 km de Chișinău. La recensămîntul din anul 2004, populaţia satului constituia 7250 de oameni. Satul Talmaza a fost menționat documentar în anul 1595.
